License data
Every license in the CSLB Data Portal with classification C-46 (Solar), plus C-10 (Electrical) licensees whose business name contains a solar or energy term. Downloaded Oct 24, 2026. Only active (“Clear”) licenses.

Website check
We read the company’s own website. A green “✔” appears only when the site says it does the service. We show the exact sentence, the link, and the date.

License match
The license number appears on the company’s site, or the company name matches the CSLB record. Shown on each card.
What a check is — and isn’t
- It’s what the company says about itself. It’s not our recommendation, a review, or a promise that they’ll take your job.
- “Not yet checked” means we haven’t read that company’s site. It doesn’t mean they refuse the work.
- Brand pages only list a company under a brand (for example, “Names Sunnova”) if its own site names that brand.
- We don’t verify insurance, workmanship, reviews or complaints. Check the license and any complaint history at the CSLB.
- Something wrong? Email [email protected] and we’ll fix or remove it.
How we make money
Right now we don’t. The site is free for homeowners and contractors.
- Later, contractors may pay a flat fee per qualified request we pass them. Never a percentage of your job, and it never changes your price from us.
- Any paid placement will be labeled and will never be ranked above checked listings.
- No ads, no affiliate links, no selling your data.
What we are
We are an advertising and referral directory — not a contractor, not the CSLB, not a lender and not a law firm. We don’t do the work, set prices, or give warranties.
